Chehaw Park is near Albany, Georgia. There are no public caves there, though, so whatever you do, do not click here! Just read these directions to find out how to get to the Sunshine Gourd College location.

From Atlanta or Warner Robins, southbound on I-75, take exit 99 (Highway 300). Go south on 300  22.5 miles to Hwy 32 and turn right. Take 32 3.5 miles to Hwy 91 and turn left (south). Chehaw Park entrance will be 9.5 miles down, on the right, well marked.

From Columbus, Georgia, go eastbound on Georgia 520/Hwy 82 to exit 5, northeast of Albany, Jefferson Street. Turn left (north) and go under the overpass. Turn right at the next stoplight (0.2 miles) onto Philema Road. Chehaw Park entrance is 1.1 miles on the left, well marked.

From Florida, northbound on I-75, take exit 62 (in Tifton). Turn left onto Hwy 82. Stay on highway 82 (for a total of 40.5 miles) into and through Albany (82 becomes a 4-lane bypass around Albany). Take exit 5a (Jefferson Street), and turn right (north). In 0.1 miles, turn right at the stoplight onto Philema Road. Chehaw Park entrance is 1.1 miles on the left, well marked.

Once you enter Chehaw, drive about 0.4 miles to your first right turn, and continue another 0.3 miles to the pavilion on your right. It's the only one in sight at that point. Look at the facility pictures on this site, you can't miss it! On your left will be a playground, and just past the pavilion is the entrance to the camping area.
